St Stephens Tower

A push-fit puzzle cut by Andrew Kershaw in 2015 from a picture by John Lewis Chapman in his 'Time out of Mind' series which depicts a view of the tower and Parliament buildings from the other side of Westminster Bridge. Judging by the vehicles this would how it might have been in the early 1900's.

St Stephen's Tower was renamed the 'Elizabeth Tower' in 2012 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's diamond jubilee.

The puzzle comes in a square purple box inside which is an explanation of how the large bell which strikes the hour was very likely named 'Big Ben' after Sir Benjamin Hall, onetime Chief Commissioner of Works and an MP.
