New Map Puzzle

A brand of double-sided puzzles sold by map publishers G. W. Bacon & Co of 127, Strand, London.

This company was started by American mapmaker and publisher George Washington Bacon (1830-1922) in 1870, specialising in Illustrations of British colonial wars and maps. It is understood they were producing maps until the 1950's.

Two dozen different map puzzles are listed on the boxes but more information is sought on when these were sold and who might have cut them.
