Norfolk Broads

Eric Pedley never seemed to believe in repeating himself, with every creation seeming to bring in some extra added fun. Take this example with its extraordinary interlocking border, along with such imaginative cutting as seen in the sails of the sailing ship!
The cutting is semi-interlocking in style and colour line-cutting occurs throughout. He has also added in three rather simplistic seagull shaped pieces in the sky for good measure.
A little research has identified the origins of the colourful print as being from a 1930's LNER railway poster for The Broads, promoting 200 MILES OF SAFE INLAND WATERWAYS and HOLIDAYS AFLOAT £4 PER WEEK.
