Dinosaur, The

Eric Pedley cut many wonderful wooden jigsaw puzzles for the British Jigsaw Puzzle Library, using more cutting styles than any other cutter I have seen. Here is a perfect example of him studying his artwork carefully before formulating his plan. The subject on this occasion is a hand-painted original, probably by Eric himself, of a very colourful and happy Stegosaurus type dinosaur. Cut into a selection of push-fit, interlocking and semi-interlocking pieces. The most original feature is the backbone which he has managed to create, forming an interlocking framework to the puzzle. Note also the single heart-shaped piece in the chest. What an imagination!
