Night With Her Train of Stars

A stunning wooden jigsaw puzzle, cut by Eric c1980-90 for the British Jigsaw Puzzle Library, featuring a painting by English artist Edward Robert Hughes (1851-1914).
The variety of techniques employed in the cutting is extraordinary. These include an interlocking edge, predominantly featuring alternate bird-shaped pieces, along with one larger, composite bird-shaped section, itself including its own t-shaped interlocks! Colour line-cutting also abounds, as well as several other S-shaped sections of non-interlocking push-fit pieces. Altogether an exemplary pieces of artwork!
