Patterns by the Seashore

Brilliantly designed and executed study by Eric Pedley, here seen in a 232-piece variant. The care which has gone into this masterpiece is quite extraordinary and displays a superb imagination. Whilst the scallop-shell artwork appears to be printed, the six starfish shapes are hand-painted, as indeed are the central shells and blue areas. A close look at this 146-piece version will allow a comparison to be made of these hand-painted areas.
