Shaw & Co Ltd, A.B.

Better known as a publishing Company, A.B. Shaw & Co Ltd are thought to have marketed only a very small number of wooden jigsaw puzzles in the 1930's-1940's. A list on the reverse of my first example, lists nine titles and promotes them as available in five sizes.
Judging by the various cutting styles demonstrated by this limited selection of puzzles, it seems likely that they commissioned other manufacturers to produce the puzzles, with likely contributions from Victory and Zig-Zag.
They were also responsible for the topical Matchless range of cardboard puzzles.
