Painted by the artist John Collier-ROI this painting was subsequently issued as a Pears Annual print in 1921. Here it has been skillfully cut in the non-interlocking style with abundant colour line-cutting, It is housed in a sturdy card box with a black ribbon tie which carries, as its label, the caption from the base of the original print.
